The Advisory Board hosted a reception on November 26 at the Kaiun Club in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, to celebrate the 14th anniversary of The Genron NPO. Advisory board members, supporters, as well as contributing experts gathered to bless the Genron NPO's progress. Altogether, roughly 120 people attended in support of The Genron NPO's goals and activities, expressing hopes for its further growth.

The Genron NPO's president Yasushi Kudo opened discussion as chair on "The Future of Japan and the Responsibility of Debate" with advisory board members Kazuo Ogoura, Mitsuo Ohashi, Yuji Miyamoto and Ichiro Fujisaki. They also reflected on the late Yotaro Kobayashi's contributions to democracy in Japan and agreed on the importance of public debate for the future of Japan.

At the party, many people celebrated the 14th anniversary of The Genron NPO and cheered on The Genron NPO's future activities.
